Paintings

On this page you’ll find a selection of my Photo-realistic works. All of them are painted in oils on wooden panels. This technique involves applying many very thin layers of oil paint one over the other, which creates and enhances the effect of depth and transparency.

Because of the amount of work involved in this technique, completing a painting takes several months. This is why the panels are small; the largest measures 25 by 30 cm. and the smallest is 10 by 10 cm. All measures are mentioned alongside the pictures below.

Some are painted after example of fellow artists; others are made after my own design.

If requested I can paint portraits of your pets – for an example you can view the picture of the White Persian.
